My Dream Radiates

I am a beautiful hearted-spirit; an envoy
Shelter for rest; providing renew strength
I am the prose illustrating martyrdom, victory
Poetry that captures profound sorrows, happiness

I am guide of the old, and the new
Create pathways so that we become alive
The beauty of connection brings creation
In me, the mind and beauty is a couple

I am the outlet for music and stories of wisdom
Lyrics of healing song depicts my strength
I am sung for happiness, prosperity, and love
Songs for beauty and peace exudes my light

The foot-steps in the dark of the night, it’s me
Not idle, nor indolent, incessantly dreaming
A beautiful hearted spirit; resilient, always outrivals.
I'll tell you, I am the dreams rising beyond life's ordinary

A Birthday Prayer For My Son

Today makes it four years
You first opened your eyes; our eyes met
From that day, four years ago
I saw in you my paradise,
That day the sky wore my rainbow

Four years ago
I looked into your beautiful eyes
Innocent, adorable, a big ray of hope
A delightful child, one of enlightenment
Like a prayer unfolded in my arms

Today you are four years old
A special gift from me to you
A little prayer for your birthday
To the giver of life, love, and The healer
To intercede, and keep watch over you

Dear God, I come before you
I’m on my knees, head bowed
To lift in prayer, my beloved son
Whom you placed in my care
On this day, four years ago

In celebration of his birthday
I lift him up to you today
Give him Angels to watch and protect him
Set right all milestones and skills
Mend all areas in his life with your blessings

Thank you God for this day
A beautiful and blessed birthday for my son
May all his dreams flower and bloom
Embrace him with love, directing his path
Guide him everyday, all through every night

Thank you dear God
For holding my son in the palm of your hands
Raising him above all setbacks, and trials
No more delays; always Good health, peace, and joy
For this child I love with my every heart beat

For you my beloved son,
I say, Happy fourth birthday to you!
I raise my glass to wish you well today, and always
You are always loved, wanted, and appreciated
So, from this day forth, let your light shine, my Prince!

To My Valentine

Some give candies and flowers
But you've made every day, moment, hours
Always a Valentine Day for us
By my side, always giving a smile
The cold, bareness lost in your smiles

Always bright, making me hopeful and happy
Happy enough to want to sing, and dance
I want to shout for the world to hear,
I am happy we are free to be happy
Tough time, but we did not surrendered
Not to the cold, the bareness, nor to the world

You are my Valentine; always will be
You touched a chord in my heart
And been with me all seasons
Your smiles rich, bright, always dazzling
Make me smile again, and again

Your smiles work wonders, my Valentine
And so, I want to fly around the world with you
We'll pass the winter, up to the summer sun
Explore the world, laugh and have fun
Because you're my child and my Valentine

You've filled my life with beauty
The essence of trust, friendship and joy
And if life should end tomorrow
I will have a beautiful smile on my face
And my heart filled with sweet dreams

We are free, truly free!

Listen, we are free
Free to live a free life, to live in freedom
Without your tyrannical disgust and gnarls
Free from your dim and oppressive confines
Away from your heartless orders of steel
No more untamed swords to hurt mankind
Unseal from those callous ordeal

Oh yes, we are free
To enjoy the radiance of the sunshine
Savor the scenery of life and nature
Stretch our hands to the laughter of the wind
Relish the sun dance majestically on the sea
Watch the dolphins play and sing
Delight in the birds, flowers and trees

I are really, really free
Never again to be held captive
Lost inside your den of maliciousness
Surrounded by pickets of your viciousness
Drifting in rivers of tears and misery
Alone, sad, cold and in fear
All sheer envy and inordinate selfishness

I am absolutely free
To contemplate without your prying eyes
Pause and smile with all my heart
Ingenious, creative and inspiring gaiety
Tango with compatriots and friends
Illuminating a big ray of hope
Splendid beauty with sweet serenity

At last, at last, we are free
It is our rights to live a free and creative life
A right from God that humans live in freedom
We have fought and will fight for our rights
You have lost, never ever to win
Defeated and languishing with a fixed grin
A lesson of envy, betrayal and hate is gained

At the End of A Journey

Here, at the end of this journey, we stand
With memories beyond mountain steep
Bruises, disappointments, detours
Trails, buried deeply inside forever
Portrayal of strength and love

Beneath the stars and shadows of the sun
Side by side; you and me always
Your strength you give freely
Unrelenting, when hopeless looms
My guide, when I linger in doubt

You have taught me a thing and two
The value of confidence of others
Beautiful and most valuable asset
Sublimates and enriches every task
Amid roughness and serenity, hope beckons

With you, I eagerly liven up every day
Forever clinging to what's ahead
Not stonewalled by the dim and dense past
Nor paused to wrestle back in fear
And never turned away by qualms

It's like a dream; me and you, a team
You are always there, at my side
No time to lament what’s lost
Wearily leaving fixed imprints
Everyday; faced with a challenge or thrill

Here, at the end of another voyage
Know that I delight in the gift of your company
And so, this day belongs to you
Underneath your happiness is my pride,
And it shall ever be the base of my strength

Rejoice also for what lies beyond today
The sunrise and sunset of the new and the old,
Gripped with pride in all that you have given me
I will not bid farewell to the day nor the night
For moon and stars are unfolding; a new day begins

My Dream Will Never Die

I am a beautiful lady, newly risen
To partake in a story for noble reasons
An African lady as cheery as the seasons
My heart is pure love fountains
The goddess of courage, love and I, one

I am a lady with the love of a child
Spring beauty spreading like wildfire
Love flows within me, dance inside me
Moving slowly like a gentle stream
A beauty that captivates everyday dream

I am a lady of the shadow and the light
A proud lady sparkling with firelight
Nurturing beauty of creation without fright
I am resilient and proud, with pride say I
For my love and dream will never die
