Move for Us Now

By: Musue N. Haddad

You’ve brought me this far,
Cuddle my boy to safety,
And then give him lovingly
Joy, peace, and happiness
Beautiful gifts daily glowing
Precision of all systems.
You rescued us from destruction,
Adversity, ruins and fears,
To a place of beautiful rest.
You wiped our inconsolable tears.
Did you bring us this far,
To let my face cover again in tears?
Did you give us this faith to again face fear?
Did you take us from the abyss of darkness,
To let us fall back into the dark?
No, no, no, I don't think so
And truly don't believe it's your way.
From every turn, your hands have played.
Even when it all seemed impossible.
Since silence is not your character.
In this situation, you are moving
This we know, our all powerful guide,
Give me wisdom to see your moving
Give me patience, understanding.
Remove all obstacles, barriers, burdens,
Let there be a break though this moment.
Retrace from odd to successful path,
Removal of hindrances, overflow with colors
A flow of viable and stable takings,
An abode filled with your love, and peace.
Our guide, advocate, provider and banner,
Supreme, Highest Authority move for us now!

My Secret

By: Musue N. Haddad

My secret
Not a secret
You know,
You’ve heard
It’s recognizable
Renown, royal
Not prideful
You may argue
Shun, and eschew
You may laugh
Shirk and Mock
Poke fun at
Sneer at
You’ll be shocked
I say gladly
My secret
Pure and bare
I accept, embrace
Honor and celebrate
Oh yes,
I extol and praise
The ever-present
Gladly, no judgment
Gives infinite light
So forthright
Full of grace
Visibly glowing
Love, joy, peace
Yes, it's beautiful
And I'm growing!

Let me Rise

Musue N. Haddad

I call and come to you
To you, only you
Body, soul and mind
You, you, my friend
Almighty, you’re my all
Come, lend your hand
Lift me high
Up to the height
Let me rise and rise
Reach, grasp the Prize
Let me fly
See your face
And your grace
Feast on grace
Forever your grace

The Place

By: Musue N. Haddad

Your message today,
Rewarding everyday
In everyway
Love and faith
And full honor
You are all
The I Am, not I will
Champion Propeller
So I ask today with my all
Take me there, it’s a prayer
To the place of assignment
And bring forth the comrade
An ally, mentor, no tyrant
The gateway of my Season
I want to summon
To say to my mentor
Your humble protégé waits!

Your Pledge

© Musue N. Haddad

Let us not be,
At the verge,
Nor the edge,
You made a firm pledge.
Your Words, your words,
Your unshakable pledge;
We may sing one dirge,
Maybe another dirge,
But never to submerge.
You also said,
That we always emerge,
Always upsurge.
By your word, I say,
You are the swage,
Our powerful wedge
For us, for us, dredge!
Keep us from the edge;
Let us ride high your sledge,
Always, always ahead,
Straight to the head,
Where we belong, the head
Keep us far from backstage.
Let us walk majestically onstage,
And emerge gracefully on masthead.
With your hedge as armor,
You, always our anchor,
The one Sovereign,
Our Yahweh.

I Dare You!

© Musue N. Haddad

Beastly scumbag in robe
Deadly wolf in sheep wool
Destructive liar, merciless butcher
Deceptive smile, double tongue
Chant prayers, preach verses, all bull
Shatters lives and dreams, ignoble

I double dare you
Stand before a plain mirror
Life size neutral mirror, miser
You’ll see a charlatan, a sadist
A brutal narcissist, vilest
Consume by self ego, a reviler

I daringly dare you
My head, heart, hands aligned brightly
I say, 'Your hideous mission has failed.'
Destructive mission, abolish forever
We are redeemed, protected forever
Loser, we’re destined for success, prosperity

It’s All for Him

© Musue N. Haddad

It is all for him
On behalf of him
I stand before you
For him, Michael
My Prince, a gem
Oh! What a blessing!
I thank you

You have me
In your custody
You gave him to me
And daily entrust me
He, in my custody
My role in your passion
Thank you

Today, I call on you
To you, my provider
Shepherd, Comforter
Restorer, my banner
My sight on you
My hands in yours
Thank You

Your heart, you’ve revealed
Oh! Yes, your passion!
Magnificent, amazing
Unconditional, free-flowing
Deep, wide, high, a beacon
Long, forever unsealed
Thank You

I openly, proudly declare
You’re the Supreme
Kind, esteem and kingly
And by your Word
And your authority
I am a heir
So here I am

I implore you for him
All for him, my child
Provide him in loads
Full peace, joy, love
And overall perfection
From the crown of his head
To the sole of his feet

By Your authority
Your Word, hearty
Your promises to me
I sing, applaud you forever
And say to all aloud
I call and extol him
And it is done!

(The wordings above came to me as a prayful song this morning. As the words came to mind, I sang and scribbled them on a piece of paper, while enroute to drop my son off to school. Eventhough it is released as a poem, it still rings as an inspirational and prayful song. June 11, 2010)

A Beautiful New Home

© Musue N. Haddad

Encircled in your arms,
Free from harms
Safe, restful, peaceful
Your Spirit in this place
Your gifts blissful
May your light shine
Always, not mine.

This Is It!

© Musue N. Haddad

When you walked
Marched up the stand
I looked from the grandstand
My heart filled with love
This is it!
I said.

When you sang, laughed
You shined
The Angel you are
The Prince you are
An enlightenment
This is it!

You hit the notes with mallets
Then the moves to classical music
My heart soared
This is it!
A bright new beginning
Endless possibilities

This is it.
New path to the future
A fresh beautiful start.
And nobly new title
All clearly proclaimed,
For you, a Prince!

Author's Note: Drafted June 3rd, 2010 to celebrate and honor my son, Michael Craddock Haddad's graduation from Kindergarten to first grade. Words are inadequate to express the joy that filled my heart to see my son walk the stage that day. I hope you too will experience that joy, if you haven't.
